Upper estimate price exceeded by 33 %.
In June 2017 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Gottardo Ortelli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottardo Ortelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Immersione totale, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 4,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gottardo Ortelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottardo Ortelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Immersione totale beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 4.500,00 versteigert wurde.
