The work Westward Ho by Gordan Grant was sold in the Maritime auction at Christies in New York in July 2004. The price achieved of USD 5,975.00 (€ 4,965.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Westward Ho is the most expensive artwork by Gordan Grant that we have observed at auctions so far.
