Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glass Scratching 2 - 2013 by Gonzalo Borondo was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,950.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gonzalo Borondo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre - 2013, which sold at auction in February 2020 for EUR 6,500.00.

Die Arbeit Glass Scratching 2 - 2013 von Gonzalo Borondo kam im April 2017 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.950,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gonzalo Borondo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2013 beobachtet, die im Februar 2020 für EUR 6.500,00 versteigert wurde.
