A top price for Gösta Werner - as previously expected
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Maiden voyage by Gösta Werner. The auction ended at the price of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,650.25), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Maiden voyage is the most expensive artwork by Gösta Werner that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maiden voyage von Gösta Werner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.650,25) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Maiden voyage das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gösta Werner, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
