Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work Lavoranti sul mare by Giuseppe Viviani. The price achieved of EUR 1,100.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Viviani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Omino con casa in rovina, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 2,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lavoranti sul mare von Giuseppe Viviani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.100,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Viviani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Omino con casa in rovina beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 2.800,00 versteigert wurde.
