Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work La lettura by Giuseppe Siccardi for EUR 300.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Siccardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La femme fatale in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 2,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La lettura von Giuseppe Siccardi für EUR 300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Siccardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La femme fatale im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.200,00.
