This artwork by Giuseppe Rivaroli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Rome in November 2005. In the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction, the work Scena mitologica sold for EUR 3,968.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Rivaroli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scena mitologica, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 8,060.00.
