A top price for Giuseppe Pinacci - as previously expected
The work Battaglia in un porto by Giuseppe Pinacci was sold in the DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI auction at Christies in Rome in June 2004. The price achieved of EUR 27,280.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Battaglia in un porto is the most expensive artwork by Giuseppe Pinacci that we have observed at auctions so far.
