Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape by Giuseppe Miti Zanetti for EUR 450.00. This price was achieved in the auction Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 550.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Miti Zanetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venezia, Ponte del Paradiso in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,580.00.
