It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,142.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Guidi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pet Parakeet in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 14,687.59).
