Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe Gheduzzi could be acquired at Il Ponte in March 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Paintings of the XIX Century | Antique and XIX Century Furnishings | Antique Paintings | A Collection of Gouaches from Naples | Objects from H.E. Cardinal A. Scola's Collection auction, the work Sheeps on the Meadow changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Gheduzzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ritorno dal campo in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 18,375,000.00 (€ 16,515.00).

Scola's Collection wechselte die Arbeit Sheeps on the Meadow für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Gheduzzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ritorno dal campo im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 18.375.000,00 (€ 16.515,00).
