The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,224.00 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Falchetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura Morta Con Frutta, 1885 in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 29,400.00.

Die Arbeit Nel Canavese, 1892 von Giuseppe Falchetti wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century Pictures bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.224,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Falchetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura Morta Con Frutta, 1885 im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 29.400,00.
