The work Il maresciallo Ney by Giuseppe Grandi was sold in the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction at Il Ponte in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 800.00 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Grandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pleureuse in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,753.43).

Die Arbeit Il maresciallo Ney von Giuseppe Grandi wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 800,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Grandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pleureuse im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.753,43).
