Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ritratto di Donna, 1922 by Giuseppe de Sanctis was sold in the 19th Century Pictures auction at Christies in Rome in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,480.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe de Sanctis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian Teodora in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 235,646.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ritratto di Donna, 1922 von Giuseppe de Sanctis wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century Pictures bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.480,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe de Sanctis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian Teodora im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 235.646,96).
