Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Al mattina di Piedigrotta; and Sosta Ribelle by Giuseppe Cosenza was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,474.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Cosenza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishermen Off The Neopolitan Coast, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,897.05).

Die Arbeit Al mattina di Piedigrotta; and Sosta Ribelle von Giuseppe Cosenza kam im Juli 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.474,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Cosenza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fishermen Off The Neopolitan Coast beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 33.600,00 (€ 49.897,05) versteigert wurde.
