In April 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Scorcio di campagna by Giuseppe Carozzi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 950.00 36% above the upper estimate. Other works by Giuseppe Carozzi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 1,000.00 in March 2013 for the work Scorcio di vita rurale.
