However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Capogrossi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Superficie 106, which sold at auction in December this year for EUR 419,500.00.

Die Arbeit Superficie AC/470/OT von Giuseppe Capogrossi kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 107.100,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Superficie 106 beobachtet, die im Dezember diesen Jahres für EUR 419.500,00 versteigert wurde.
