This artwork by Giuseppe Capogrossi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2021. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale auction, the work Superficie 82 sold for EUR 87,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Capogrossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Superficie 106 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Capogrossi erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Superficie 82 für EUR 87.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 419.500,00.
