This artwork by Giuseppe Capogrossi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Superficie 680 sold for EUR 70,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Capogrossi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Superficie 106 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Capogrossi erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Superficie 680 für EUR 70.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 419.500,00.
