Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
The work Senza titolo by Giuseppe Capogrossi was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Capogrossi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie 106 in December this year with an auction result of EUR 419,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Giuseppe Capogrossi wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Capogrossi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie 106 im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 419.500,00.
