This artwork by Giuseppe Bezzuoli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2004. In the OLD MASTER PICTURES & DRAWINGS auction, the work Brunelleschi, seated, holding a model of the dome of Florence Cathedral sold for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,536.88) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Bezzuoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Folly driving the chariot of Love in January 2018 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 221,274.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Bezzuoli erzielte im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES & DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Brunelleschi, seated, holding a model of the dome of Florence Cathedral für GBP 1.792,50 (€ 2.536,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Bezzuoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Folly driving the chariot of Love im Januar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 221.274,54).
