Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ritratto di fanciullo by Giuseppe Bertini was auctioned at Il Ponte in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 700.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 650.00. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Bertini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ritratto Di Donna in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 2,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ritratto di fanciullo von Giuseppe Bertini im Juni diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 650,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Bertini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ritratto Di Donna im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.880,00.
