Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 40,250.00 (€ 47,201.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio D'Anna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 100,000.00 (€ 117,190.13).

Die Arbeit Aerei In Volo + Paesaggio von Giulio D'Anna kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.250,00 (€ 47.201,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio D'Anna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paesaggio siciliano e Aerei beobachtet, die im März 2017 für GBP 100.000,00 (€ 117.190,13) versteigert wurde.
