In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Living with Design: The Collections of Walter Lees and Mr NC., which included the work The Flagellation of Christ by Girolamo Muziano. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,532.83), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Girolamo Muziano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A rocky gorge with a mill, which sold at auction in January 2004 for USD 47,800.00 (€ 38,387.41).

Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Living with Design: The Collections of Walter Lees and Mr NC. durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Flagellation of Christ von Girolamo Muziano zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.532,83) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Girolamo Muziano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A rocky gorge with a mill beobachtet, die im Januar 2004 für USD 47.800,00 (€ 38.387,41) versteigert wurde.
