It achieved a price of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 50,776.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Richter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serie von vier Ansichten von Venedig: Dogenpalast / Santa Maria della Salute von der Piazetta aus / San Michele / San Giorgio Maggiore. in September 2006 with an auction result of CHF 407,500.00 (€ 256,859.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.850,00 (€ 50.776,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Richter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serie von vier Ansichten von Venedig: Dogenpalast / Santa Maria della Salute von der Piazetta aus / San Michele / San Giorgio Maggiore. im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 407.500,00 (€ 256.859,58).
