In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master & British PicturesDay Sale Including Property From The Collection Of The Princely House Of Liechtenstein, which included the work Saint Margaret with the dragon by Giovanni Martinelli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,822.09), 25% above the upper estimate.
