Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,230.00 (€ 11,799.86). Admittedly, works by Giovanni Maria Morandi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Rest On The Flight Into Egypt in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,016.04).
