In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Decorated Barges And Fireworks By The Punta Della Dogana In Venice by Giovanni Grubacs. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Grubacs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice, A View Of The Bacino Di San Marco And The Dogana At Sunset, which sold at auction in January 2017 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 150,546.60).
