Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Madonna and Child with Angels by Giovanni di Francesco Toscani. The price achieved of USD 126,000.00 (€ 117,416.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Giovanni di Francesco Toscani have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2021 the work Madonna and Child with musician angels was auctioned for USD 201,600.00 (€ 166,131.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madonna and Child with Angels von Giovanni di Francesco Toscani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 117.416,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
