Manfrin, 1785, a composite set, mostly fine to very fine impressions, the title-page and Rizzi 29 good impressions on thicker paper with wide margins, the others with one margin and trimmed to or just outside the platemark, some staining and creasing, otherwise generally in good condition

Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900, which included the work Vari Capricci by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,266.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna Of The Rosary With Angels in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 17,349,000.00 (€ 15,639,592.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vari Capricci von Giovanni Battista Tiepolo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.266,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Tiepolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Madonna Of The Rosary With Angels im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.349.000,00 (€ 15.639.592,54).
