In the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction, the work Recto: Study for the Assumption of the Virgin Verso: Studies of Drapery and two legs changed hands for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,037.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna Of The Rosary With Angels in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 17,349,000.00 (€ 15,639,592.54).
