In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Apples, Apricots, Figs And Plums In A Landscape by Giovanni Battista Ruoppolo. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Ruoppolo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Watermelon, Melon, Grapes, Apples, Pomegranates, Peaches, Figs And Quinces In A Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 117,823.48).
