Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,360.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Battista Pittoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Achilles Among The Daughters Of Lycomedes in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 250,000.00 (€ 274,483.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit San Giuseppe e Gesù Bambino von Giovanni Battista Pittoni wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Christies in Mailand versteigert.
