Auction result well in line with expectations

In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction The Carraro Rizzoli Collection Treasures from a Milanese Palazzo, which included the work An Italianate river landscape with herdsmen on a path, a town beyond; and An Italianate river landscape with travellers on a path, a town beyond by Giovanni Battista Cimaroli. It changed hands for a price of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 103,295.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Cimaroli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice A View From The Piazzetta, Looking West Towards The Dogana And Santa Maria Della Salute, With The Zecca, Biblioteca Sansoviniana And Column Of St. Theodore; Venice, A View Of The Molo From The Piazzetta, Looking South To San Giorgio Maggiore, With in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 554,

Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Carraro Rizzoli Collection Treasures from a Milanese Palazzo durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italianate river landscape with herdsmen on a path, a town beyond; and An Italianate river landscape with travellers on a path, a town beyond von Giovanni Battista Cimaroli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 103.295,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
