In the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings auction, the work Psyche telling her sisters of her lover sold for GBP 8,962.50 (€ 11,714.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Castello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Adoration Of The Magi in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 74,074.07).
