Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Don Juan of Austria (?) and a general planning for a battle by Giovanni Balducci was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,325.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Balducci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana And Actaeon in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 60,185.19).

Die Arbeit Don Juan of Austria (?) and a general planning for a battle von Giovanni Balducci kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.325,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Balducci erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana And Actaeon im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 60.185,19).
