Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait De Jeune Fille by Georgios Gounaropoulos was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2014. The price achieved of EUR 2,860.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgios Gounaropoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prometheus in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 45,600.00 (€ 67,103.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait De Jeune Fille von Georgios Gounaropoulos kam im April 2014 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.860,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgios Gounaropoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prometheus im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.600,00 (€ 67.103,49).
