A top price for Giorgio Kienerk - as previously expected
In May 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART, which included the work L'altalena, 1926 circa by Giorgio Kienerk. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 11,160.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, L'altalena, 1926 circa is the most expensive artwork by Giorgio Kienerk that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO - 19TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'altalena, 1926 circa von Giorgio Kienerk zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 11.160,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist L'altalena, 1926 circa das teuerste Kunstwerk von Giorgio Kienerk, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
