Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne Evening Auction, which included the work Interno metafisico by Giorgio de Chirico. It changed hands for a price of EUR 378,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio de Chirico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 15,890,400.00 (€ 13,643,341.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interno metafisico von Giorgio de Chirico zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 378.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio de Chirico erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.890.400,00 (€ 13.643.341,63).
