Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Duello fra cavalieri by Giorgio de Chirico was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. It achieved a price of EUR 35,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio de Chirico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 15,890,400.00 (€ 13,643,341.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Duello fra cavalieri von Giorgio de Chirico kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 35.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio de Chirico erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.890.400,00 (€ 13.643.341,63).
