Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giordano Falzoni could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund auction, the work Doors to Outer Places changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 220.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Giordano Falzoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apparition in March this year with an auction result of EUR 2,040.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giordano Falzoni konnte im November 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund wechselte die Arbeit Doors to Outer Places für USD 250,00 (€ 220,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giordano Falzoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apparition im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.040,00.
