Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2006 Christies in Rome held the auction 19th Century Pictures, which included the work Profilo di Giovinetta by Gioacchino Toma. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,300.00 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gioacchino Toma have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 18,600.00 in November 2005 for the work Colpo di vento.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion 19th Century Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Profilo di Giovinetta von Gioacchino Toma zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.300,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Gioacchino Toma haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.600,00 im November 2005 für die Arbeit Colpo di vento beobachtet.
