In November 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza Titolo by Gino de Dominicis. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 78,750.00 31% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gino de Dominicis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Gino de Dominicis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 78.750,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
