Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Senza Titolo by Gino de Dominicis. The price achieved of EUR 72,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gino de Dominicis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Gino de Dominicis zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 72.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
