Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza Titolo by Gino de Dominicis was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 42,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino de Dominicis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Senza Titolo in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 492,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Gino de Dominicis wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 42.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino de Dominicis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Senza Titolo im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 492.500,00.
