Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life of a sunflower by Ginette Rapp for USD 375.00 (€ 282.61). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ginette Rapp have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2009 by the work Tethered fishing boats at GBP 375.00 (€ 404.38).

Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life of a sunflower von Ginette Rapp für USD 375,00 (€ 282,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ginette Rapp wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2009 die Arbeit Tethered fishing boats mit GBP 375,00 (€ 404,38).
