Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A Still Life With A Roemer, A Peeled Lemon, Cherries And A Bread Roll On A Partly-Draped Table by Gillis Gillisz. de Bergh. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,227.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gillis Gillisz. de Bergh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stillleben mit Äpfeln, Zwetschgen, einer Porzellanschale mit Erdbeeren und einem Römer mit Wein auf einer Tischplatte., which sold at auction in September 2015 for CHF 36,500.00 (€ 33,458.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With A Roemer, A Peeled Lemon, Cherries And A Bread Roll On A Partly-Draped Table von Gillis Gillisz. de Bergh zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.227,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gillis Gillisz. de Bergh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stillleben mit Äpfeln, Zwetschgen, einer Porzellanschale mit Erdbeeren und einem Römer mit Wein auf einer Tischplatte. beobachtet, die im September 2015 für CHF 36.500,00 (€ 33.458,88) versteigert wurde.
