In May 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Sul melograno by Gianni Dova. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gianni Dova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiro al bersaglio in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 21,620.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sul melograno von Gianni Dova zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Dova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiro al bersaglio im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.620,00.
