Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Busto di donna by Gianni Dova. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianni Dova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tiro al bersaglio, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 21,620.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Busto di donna von Gianni Dova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianni Dova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tiro al bersaglio beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 21.620,00 versteigert wurde.
