The work Alle 5 della sera by Gianni Dova was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gianni Dova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiro al bersaglio in November 2007 with an auction result of EUR 21,620.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Alle 5 della sera von Gianni Dova wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Dova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiro al bersaglio im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.620,00.
